Biography
Silvia Stardust - Adult Entertainer, Politician, Actress for Film/TV
Hi! My name is Silvia Stardust, my birth name is Eva Lajoie, though my more official and preferred name is Silvia Stardust. I am a born Female Canadian from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and a Politician for The Green Party of Canada, and I have had the honor of participating in Canada's 45th General Election representing the riding of Toronto-Danforth. I was nominated as a Candidate for The House of Commons during the 2025 Federal Election which took place on April 28th, 2025. During the election period, my running mate was The Honorable Julie Dabrusin of The Liberal Party of Canada - she is a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and a member of the Canada-Israel Interparliamentary Group - we competed for the same seat in Parliament! This is a milestone for Canadians, as I have also worked in the Adult Entertainment Industry for over 9 years as a Legally Licensed Sex Worker, which I openly and honestly told the Canadian press. Bless Canada, and thank you. Advocating for The Natural Environment as a Green, and enforcing Civil Rights for marginalized Canadians, and Member States across our world, are a key focus on my political platform. I know what happens abroad also impacts Canadian policy. On April 28th, 2025, I finished the federal election with 626 official votes! Thank you Canada! Our nation is one of great progressive Social Freedoms, and Gender Equality. The Green Party of Canada's political platform for 2025 fully supports the Decriminalization of Sex Work - and while having personally experienced the struggles that hard-working Women face in this industry, it is time for some real change. Bill C-36, The Exploited Persons Act, should be rectified for the benefit of the Sex Workers themselves - as current Laws and Safety Regulations within Canada, DO NOT fully support basic Worker's Rights, Worker's Benefits and Worker's Safety Compensation. There are Canadian Women at risk in their Licensed Employment for Exploitation, Rape and Murder. It is up to us, The People of Canada, to contact Government and tell them that the Women of Canada, need better Worker's Rights Protections! When we collectively embrace others for having different perspectives and experiences, we can understand life together, and create better suited policies for Canada, and the world.
My career as an Interdisciplinary Artist began in 2010 having previously lived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for 11 years. I moved to the city of Montreal, Canada where I took on independent projects like music-videos and promotional modelling events. I graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Film Studies, then moved to Toronto in 2016 and studied acting under the Toronto Academy of Acting for Film and Television (TAAFT), as well as Armstrong Acting Studios. As a child I appeared in many stage productions, including Macbeth, The Lion King and Grease. I was cast as two lead principal roles of Adult Nala in The Lion King, and Danny Zuko, the lead Male role, in Grease. Playing John Travolta's original character of Danny Zuko in Grease Lightning as a young girl, was a very fun and enlightening experience for me. I was usually made fun of at school for being a girly girl, and I got cast the lead Male role for our school's production of Grease. In 2026 I am unionized with the Alliance of Canadian Cinema and Television Radio Artists (ACTRA). I live and work as a Licensed Entertainer, a dancer, and perform nightly at a club in Toronto West. As an interdisciplinary artist I have experience with modelling, acting, photography, painting, writing and digital design etc.
As an Eco-Feminist and Artist I like to find connections in life that align spiritually as well as physically; especially connections to Women and Nature. Earth is our home, and we need to protect her. I am someone with a history of trauma from domestic and sexual abuse. Transparency and gentleness are my values. The scope of my creative work involves the exploration of the human psyche and how humans move as a collective in mind, body, spirit and soul. My interests have always been in the intricate or otherwise mysterious connections that make us who and what we are.
